Welcome to my take on ANAKIN SKYWALKER (Darth Vader) from Star Wars. I honestly just have a few guidelines.
DISCLAIMER. I do not claim to own anything on this blog, except the writing, headcanons, random musings. I try to get the characterization as close as I can. I'm not willing to alter my characterization, for anyone.
This blog started on my sideblog multimuse, crowsandmurder, before now moving him to his own blog. We are multiverse, multiship, and everything exists, in its own verse. Anakin is primarily heterosexual, unless plotted with a certain mun. I do have a limit in how many versions of a character I write with. Currently, the cap of Padme is at 5. Anidala is not automatic for me. There has to be chemistry. If I have an exclusive, there's 1. Exclusive is one person.Remember that Star Wars is a Tragedy and that Anakin Skywalker's life was a journey on the path to becoming the Chosen One. This encompasses his childhood, adulthood, and journey as the chosen one, even beyond death.
ONE. While on that note, I am over 21 and heโs over 18 unless otherwise stated. I do write NSFW themes, like smut, violence, etc. I will not write anything NSFW with anyone under the age of 18, no matter what your country is. It makes me mildly uncomfortable to write with people under the age of 18 in general, but if so, we can talk about it, if you come to me. But, absolutely no NSFW under 18. I am more than willing to write it on Discord, instead.Smut will never be under a read more, unless the person Iโm writing with, is uncomfortable with it not being that way. Triggers may be present and will be tagged as tw:_____. On that note, Anakin has trauma, from his childhood and I won't let it just be used as a plot device, for no reason. His slavery is handled very carefully..He has many kinks but anything slavery connected is a hard no.
TWO. Familiarity with the source content is extremely important. Anakin/Vader is highly developed and I do not expect anyone by any means, to consume it all. But, this mostly goes for Padme players. It is of utmost importance to be familiar with the events of Revenge of the Sith. It is something hugely important, when interacting with my Anakin and/or Vader and not knowing how it went down, because you haven't seen it in a decade makes it hard to interact. The wiki is also extremely helpful. If you are looking for a book to read, I highly recomment Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover. That being said, I won't write with self-inserts.
THREE. I try to do all my replies in a timely manner. If I'm having a hard time that week, feel free to hit me up and remind me, or you're always welcome to come write with me on Discord too. My Discord is available to all my mutuals, who I have at least plotted with. Don't worry about messaging me. You're not annoying me.Legacy or Beta Editor are both available. Let me know if you prefer legacy.Also be aware, I do minimal formatting only. Small text, sometimes a bolded word, and an icon. I'm not someone who obsesses over aesthetics.
FOUR. Please understand the era and/or lifestyle this character comes from, the behaviors, and the way they treat people. Iโm not condoning it as a person, but I believe in keeping things real, and I never shy away from darker themes, or writing a darker side to a character.
FIVE. I am more than happy to take memes from anyone who sends them, but I can hoard them, at times. Sometimes, they stay there for months and then I lose muse for them. If I donโt post one you sent, just send another next time. Itโs not personal.
SIX. I will not under any circumstances roleplay with any of the following faceclaims: Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Kardashians, Selena Gomez, Nickelodeon, anyone who has ever been in One Direction, or Disney faceclaims. There are no exceptions.
SEVEN. I do not reuse starters, write the same one for more than one person, use pre-written things, as starters. Everyone gets their own unique starter/reply. It makes me a little uncomfortable when others do that sort of thing. Also, I don't like purple prose. If I can't understand what you're saying, I can't reply.
EIGHT. Length varies. Iโll try to always match what you write, best I can, although it may be a line or two short. Sometimes I get long-winded. It just varies, in general. I will never force a word count on you. I just ask that you give me enough to work with it, so I can give you a good response. Please bear in mind, that just because you use pages of purple prose, it doesn't mean people understand it.
NINE. Communication is key. If you are going to be really slow, thatโs totally fine, but I need to know whatโs going on. If you will not be replying for over two weeks and you say nothing and especially if you seemingly drop all of our things without saying anything, Iโll drop what we have. Itโs just not worth my time. I always try to keep people updated. If you have a problem with me, come to me directly either by DM or Discord. Comments are not the place for that. I tend to become friends with my rp partners, and that is not how friends should treat each other.
TEN. Donโt be an asshole about hate. Donโt send anon hate. Donโt post vague hate. If you hate how I play a character, come to me respectfully, privately. Just be respectful. Thatโs all I ask. I try to do the same. Letโs not ruin friendship over stupid RP bullshit. I'm extremely duplicate friendly, but I understand some aren't. If you aren't, that's cool. But, don't be shit talking me on your blog. I will find out, and will likely say something. If you haven't guessed, I am extremely blunt. I tend to say things, before I think them through. I'm very opinionated. But, it's just because I'm passionate about Anakin's journey. If you are rude, you will likely get that back. I'm a highly reactive Taurus. But, I promise I want to rp with you..
The son of Shmi Skywalker, raised a slave in Tatooine, that should be all there is, right? Itโs not that simple for ANAKIN SKYWALKER. He apparently is the Chosen One, the one who is going to bring balance to the force. Taken to become a Jedi by QUI-GON JINN and later trained by OBI-WAN KENOBI after Qui-Gon is killed by Darth Maul, Anakin is going to be a Jedi.
The thing about Anakin is something that originally made the Jedi council pause. Anakinโs midi-chlorians waere high, higher than any Jedi ever. But, they relented and he was to be trained.
During training, he butted heads often with his master, due to his own stubbornness but still saw him as a father. As a JEDI KNIGHT, he had no fear and could be quite arrogant about it, and was reunited with PADME AMIDALA, who was now Senator Amidala. Protecting her allowed them more time to grow closer, which would lead to a future that he couldnโt let anyone know. But, Anakin did have fears. He had fears, anger, things no Jedi should, and in the end, it would cost him those he loved, and also, himself.
During training, he butted heads After a duel with Obi-Wan after Anakin had sworn loyalty to the Sith Lord to save Padme, Anakin lost his limbs and became more or a cyborg, the menacing DARTH VADER.
As Darth Vader, he had no mercy. Anakin Skywalker was gone, it seemed. There were instances, times he met certain people, that he would show some humanity, who he really was overcoming the monster heโd become, but it wasnโt until his own FLESH AND BLOOD came, that things started to change.
In the end, he did bring balance to the force. But, his road was a long one, and he had suffered and done horrible things.
Traumas: Slavery, Death of Family Members, etc. These aren't handled lightly and I prefer them to be plotted. Anything slavery related will never be used as a kink, period.
==..โ I AM A PERSON. . == .. Anakin Skywalker is a slave in Tattooine, along with his mother, Shmi. He builds things for fun, like speeders, droids, etc. His life doesnโt seem like itโs going to change, until a Jedi comes and starts talking to him about going and being a Jedi. (FC: Jake Lloyd)
==..โ YOUNG PADAWAN. . == .. As Anakin trains with Obi-Wan as a boy and grows into his teenage years, he tries to learn the rules and codes of a Jedi, while missing his mother and dealing with all of the things that he is told Jedi deal with. He is stubborn and the fact that he is good at so many things doesnโt help keep him humble. Adolescence is hard, but even harder when becoming a Jedi. But, he excelled at everything he tried.
==..โ OLDER PADAWAN. . == .. In his older teenage years, Anakin Skywalker has become more arrogant and is sure that it is time to have the trials, but Obi-Wan is holding him back. His first mission alone, Heโs been given the task of protecting Senator Amidala, which is harder than he thought. He is supposed to keep her on Naboo, but the nightmares about his mother wonโt go away and Padme is so stubborn.It doesnโt help that he is falling in love with her, but Obi-Wan keeps reminding him to keep his thoughts under control. He knows that things are complicated and the young Skywalker is starting to have more secrets than before, as the battles start to grow, as the Clone Wars begin.
==..โ JEDI KNIGHT. . == .. The hero with no fear. In just a few weeks time, he got married, became a Knight, was made a General, has his own Clone army and The Clone Wars are hard. They are exhausting. Anakin Skywalker is known as the Man with no Fear. He is not one to admit that he has fears. He handles things with a natural swagger and confidence, but that doesnโt mean that he never worries. He is constantly in battles, hiding his relationship with a Senator is harder than he likes to admit. Finding time to spend with her is hard to find.
==..โ YOU UNDERESTIMATE MY POWER. . == .. As Senator Palpatine keeps whispering in Anakinโs ear and his dreams grow worse, Anakin starts letting his thoughts grow darker. Obi-Wan refuses to understand, the council wonโt make him master and he canโt go to them about this. Palpatine is offering him things he did not know were possible. But, they could mean making choices, ones he could never take back, ones that could cost him everything, including everything good about him.
==..โ THE CHOSEN ONE. . == .. After Anakin finally restored balance to the force, he was able to join his former master and other Jedi in the force. He sometimes counsels people still, before he is finally able to move on completely. He has so many regrets, so many things that he knows that he needs to make up for. This Chosen One thing apparently doesn't end with balancing the force. His power, although quite impressive before, is even stronger now, and he's not even truly alive. He doesn't think...
==..โ COMICS. . == .. Anakin and Darth Vader have been heavily featured in the comics and this is a sub-verse tag, for any comic verses, that will likely blend in somewhere else, as well.
==..โ LEGENDS. . == .. Legends can fall under its own category. The new spin on canon can be iffy and controversial to some. It will fall here.
==..โ I AM WHAT YOU MADE ME. . == .. After nearly being killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, Anakin was left to die. He hated him. His darkness had overcome him, and heโd done so many things. Darth Sidious found him and after a long, painful surgery, Darth Vader truly rose. After Sidious told him that he had killed Padme, he was truly born. Vader was finally the new apprentice of the Sith Lord. How much of Anakin was left and how would he handle his new identity?Sidious wanted any survivors gone. Vader wanted Obi-Won dead. He could not hide forever. But, that was not all he did. He became well known in the new empire, making a name for himself, leaving carnage and violence in his wake. It was something that went on for many years, until his son came into his life. Then, things changed.
==..โ I WILL EVEN LEARN TO STOP PEOPLE FROM DYING. . == .. Letโs be honest. Canon wasnโt always so friendly to Anakin. Divergence sometimes is needed to fix it. There are so many things to fix for some of those alternate canon situations.
==..โ MY NEW EMPIRE. . == .. Anakin Skywalker took on the persona of Darth Vader, and when he opened himself up to the Dark Side, more power opened up to him. Depending on who heโs lost by then, itโs worse. Sidious thinks heโs subservient and makes the mistake of telling him so and after enough time under him, Anakin Skywalker reaches full-potential Anakin Skywalker, even though heโs now Darth Vader. His first goal: Kill the Emperor. Only problem, now he has to deal with Senators and politics.
